Discussioni Wikipedia:Mmàggini

In english, so my point is clear... At la.wikipedia, we have the policy of discouraging users from uploading pictures here. We do not forbid people from uploading into la.wiki, but we encourage anyone who wants to upload an image to do so at Commons. This way the picture can be used by all Wikimedia projects, and any licensing issues become the responsibility of the folks at commons. What do you all think about a policy like this?--Giosuè Rocchio 14:11, 23 Giugnettu 2006 (UTC)

I am totally agree; cumpletamenti daccordu. --Giusi 23:13, 23 Giugnettu 2006 (UTC)
Mostly in agreement, occasionally it's good to load pictures from other wikipedias (I've never loaded a picture to Commons) - I think when we do load pictures, they come from other wikipedias. ρ¡ρρµ δ→θ∑ - (waarom? jus'b'coz!) 00:01, 24 Giugnettu 2006 (UTC)
Yes, but even images you upload from other wikipedias can be uploaded into commons. The process of uploading is identical, but the end result is much more useful. As I said, that way we don't have to worry about licensing issues, and that way any wikipedia, or any wikinews, or any other wikimedia project in any other language (we're talking almost a thousand different projects) can use the image file. If we upload onto a specific wiki, only that one wiki can use it.--Giosuè Rocchio 03:35, 24 Giugnettu 2006 (UTC)
Certainly agree with the philosophy - if it is easy to do so in Commons - then I don't see a problem. ρ¡ρρµ δ→θ∑ - (waarom? jus'b'coz!) 04:03, 24 Giugnettu 2006 (UTC)
